Safe Staffing  Bill

Municipalities included in District 16 are: Branchburg, Delaware, Flemington, Hillsborough, Manville, Millstone (Somerset), Montgomery, Princeton, Raritan (Hunterdon), Readington, Rocky Hill, Somerville, South Brunswick, Stockton 

• Call Zwicker's office and thank staffer that Zwicker is a cosponsor of S304

• Ask the staffer for Zwicker to encourage senate president Nick Scutari to put S304 for a floor vote during this year's lame duck session

• Sample script: Hi, my name is <name>, I live in <town>. I am calling Senator Zwicker  because I wanted to thank him for co-sponsoring the Nurses Safe Staffing Bill, S304. Would Senator Zwicker make a public statement supporting the bill?  Would Senator Zwicker 

• Call Freiman's office and ask the staffer to have Freiman cosponsor A4536. Tell the staffer that Zwicker is a cosponsor

• Sample script: Hi, my name is <name>, I live in <town>. I am calling Assemblyman Freiman to ask for his support on an important bill: the Nurses Safe Staffing Bill, A4536. I support the bill because... Can Assemblyman Freiman join Senator Zwicker in co-sponsoring the bill.

• Call Jaffer's office and ask the staffer to confirm that Jaffer will cosponsor A4536

• Sample script: Hi, my name is <name>, I live in <town>. I am calling Assemblywoman Jaffer  because she is on the Assembly Health Committee. Does Assembly woman Jaffer support the Nurses Safe Staffing Bill, A4536?  Please ask her to co-sponsor the bill and support scheduling the bill for a public hearing at the next committee meeting.

• Sadaf Jaffer is not running for re-election in November. While Michelle Drulis is not an active Assembly Member, it is important to confirm her support for the Nurses Safe Staffing Bill.
