Code of Conduct

We are a grassroots movement in New Jersey working to prioritize the needs of people and our planet by growing a group strong enough to win progressive issue fights, elect progressive champions, transform the Democratic Party and get big money out of politics.  

1. Respect Our Guest Speakers

   1. Please give your full attention to our guest speakers. Remain muted during their presentation unless instructed otherwise.

2. Hold Questions Until the End

   1. Save all questions for the designated Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

3. Keep Microphones Muted

   1. To minimize background noise, keep your microphone muted at all times unless speaking.

4. Use the Chat Responsibly

   1. Feel free to use the chat for relevant comments or questions during the presentation, but stay on-topic.

5. Avoid Interruptions

   1. Do not speak over others or interrupt the presentation. You will receive one warning, and repeated disruptions may result in removal from the session..

6. Stay Engaged

   1. Actively listen and participate when appropriate, especially during breakout sessions or group discussions.

7. Be Mindful of Speaking Time

   1. When asking a question, please be concise. If your question exceeds an unreasonable length, you will be given a warning. If you continue beyond your allotted time, you will be muted.

8. Stack Method for Questions

   1. We will be using the Stack Method to determine the order of questions. Please wait for your turn to speak.
